Most homes with a Cumming address sit in unincorporated Forsyth County, in subdivisions that range from established lake neighborhoods to streets still being built. Robust Roofing is hiring Roofing Project Managers to serve them under a compensation plan we hold up as the best in roofing sales across North Georgia: a $75,000 per year base and a true 50/50 split with no deductions.

Three generations of subdivisions

Nearly all of Cumming's housing was built by subdivision from the late 1980s on. Habersham on Lanier, with a median build year around 1985, is the older tier. Polo Golf and Country Club (1998), Haddon Hall (1999), Windermere (around 2000) and Chattahoochee River Club (2001) form the big late-1990s wave. Vickery, a 214-acre walkable village, and recent construction at Hemingway carry the newest stock. Copper Creek, Valley Stream, Hampton Golf Village, Lanier Country Club Estates, Three Chimneys Farm and Castleberry fill in the rest. HOAs with architectural review are standard, so the color conversation is part of nearly every project. Inspections here range from a 1980s lake home at Habersham on Lanier to a roof only a few years old at Hemingway, and you learn to read both with the same care.

Lake wind and Forsyth hail

Lake Lanier adds wind exposure along the 30041 shoreline, and pines and oaks overhang a large share of roofs. Radar estimates and National Weather Service reports show 7 days with hail of 0.75 inch or larger over Cumming since January 2025, 2 of them at 1 inch or more. The largest was 1.75 inches in April 2025, when the Weather Service recorded hail that size 4 miles south-southwest of Cumming. More recently, radar estimated 0.75 inch hail over 30041 on March 6, 2026 and over 30028 on August 9, 2026.

The math is simple. More storms mean more Forsyth County families with questions about their roofs, and every one of them deserves a straight answer from someone who knows what to look for.

The Project Manager's role in Cumming

Permits inside the Cumming city limits come from the city, while unincorporated addresses go through Forsyth County. Robust handles that side, and you make sure the homeowner never has to think about it. Your day to day: free roof inspections with photos, clear damage documentation, insurance claims worked alongside our licensed adjuster, carrier adjuster meetings and supplements, options and colors in the RoofMap homeowner portal, build coordination and a final walkthrough. Most replacements finish in one day, and you remain the homeowner's single point of contact throughout. Our Cumming roofing page shows the homeowner side, and a week in the life shows yours.

Compensation

Two parts, both in plain sight: a $75,000 per year base and a true 50/50 split with no deductions. The split is not reduced by fees taken off the top before it is calculated. Our roofing sales compensation page lays out why we stand behind it and what to ask any roofing company before you sign.

Training for people new to roofing

Experience in roofing is not required. Robust provides your HAAG certification and comprehensive training, and you learn the insurance side alongside the licensed Property and Casualty insurance adjuster on our staff. What we look for is communication, follow-through and honesty. Robust never waives deductibles, which is illegal in Georgia, so honest selling is the only kind we do.
