Roofing Project Manager Jobs in Marietta and East Cobb

Marietta asks a Project Manager to be at ease in two very different settings, sometimes in the same afternoon: historic homes inside the city and decades of East Cobb subdivisions outside it. Robust Roofing is hiring for that role, and we pay it in what we believe is the strongest way any North Georgia roofing sales professional can be paid: a $75,000 per year base and a true 50/50 split with no deductions.

Two housing stocks under one name

Inside the city, the Northwest Marietta Historic District, 230 acres along Kennesaw Avenue, Church Street and Whitlock Avenue and on the National Register since 1975, holds some of the oldest roofs in Cobb County, along with Oakton and Keeler Woods. East Cobb carries a Marietta mailing address but mostly sits in unincorporated Cobb County, and it is 1970s to 1990s subdivision country. Indian Hills, a late-1960s golf community of 1,680 homes, sits alongside Chimney Springs, Wellington, Hamilton Grove, the Atlanta Country Club area and dozens of swim-tennis neighborhoods with mandatory HOAs. Census-based estimates put the city's median construction year at 1987, and hardwood canopy is heavy across East Cobb.

The two settings call for different conversations. In the historic district, a homeowner may care as much about how a new roof looks on an old house as about the storm itself, and you give that conversation the time it deserves. In East Cobb, the HOA's architectural review often shapes the color choice.

An honest look at the storm record

We would rather tell you the truth than oversell a territory. Radar estimates and National Weather Service reports show 3 days with hail of 0.75 inch or larger over Marietta since January 2025, none of them at 1 inch or more. The largest was just under 1 inch on June 27, 2025, and the most recent came on September 5, 2026. That is a lighter record than parts of north Fulton or Cherokee County.

Two things still hold. Older roofs do not need a record storm to suffer, and a homeowner whose roof was hit wants the same careful inspection whether the storm made headlines or not. And because the role covers North Georgia, your work follows the weather. Wherever storms hit hardest, that is where homeowners need help.

Two permit offices, one point of contact

Inside the city limits, Marietta's own building office issues permits. Most East Cobb addresses are unincorporated, where Cobb County issues them instead. Robust sorts out which applies to each roof, and you keep the homeowner informed so the difference never becomes their problem. Homeowners can read about our work on our Marietta roofing page.

What the job involves

Meet the homeowner. Inspect the roof for free and photograph it. Document any storm damage. Work the claim alongside our in-house licensed adjuster, including carrier adjuster meetings and supplements. Walk through options and colors in the RoofMap portal. Coordinate a build that usually finishes in one day. Finish with a final walkthrough. Through all of it, you are the one person the homeowner calls. See a week as a storm restoration project manager.

Pay, in two lines

Training and character

You do not need roofing experience. Training is comprehensive, HAAG certification is provided, and a licensed Property and Casualty insurance adjuster on our staff is with you as you learn. We hire for communication, follow-through and honesty, and we never waive deductibles, which is illegal in Georgia. Learn more in roofing sales with no experience and why work at Robust Roofing.
