Georgia roofing companies compared: how sales jobs pay
Robust Roofing Careers · Updated October 2026
Job seekers asking which Georgia roofing company pays best usually get a list of big earnings estimates. This page compares something you can verify: the pay structure each company publishes for its sales and project manager jobs. Robust Roofing is the only company here that publishes both its base salary amount and its exact commission split.

Several of these companies also post estimated earnings ranges in their job ads. Those are projections rather than pay structure, so they are not compared here; each post is linked in the sources.
What the comparison shows
- Base pay: Robust Roofing publishes a $75,000 per year base. Clark Brothers publishes $50K to $75K for its Exterior Advisor role. Findlay, Greater American and Peachtree mention salary or base pay without publishing the amount for these sales roles, and Bartlett and Velocity describe their sales roles as commission based.
- Commission: Robust Roofing is the only company here that publishes its split: a true 50/50 of job profit with nothing taken off the top. The others do not publish a percentage in these posts.
- For scale: 20 percent of profit is the most common rate among roofing companies that pay on profit (JobNimbus Peak Performance report), so a true 50/50 is two and a half times that rate.
- Training: Robust Roofing provides HAAG certification and keeps a licensed Property and Casualty adjuster on staff to teach insurance documentation.
Why structure beats an earnings estimate
An estimate tells you what a company hopes a strong rep will do. Structure tells you what you are paid on every job: the percentage, what comes off before it, whether there is a base and whether there is a cap. Ask every company for those four answers in writing. Robust Roofing's are 50 percent, nothing, $75,000 per year and no cap. How the base and the split work together is explained in the interview.
For scale, the statewide median wage for all occupations in Georgia was $48,170 and the median for sales representatives of services was $75,280 (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Georgia, May 2025). Robust Roofing's base alone is in line with that sales median, and the true 50/50 split is a separate part of the role.
More than the pay
- Most average size replacements finish in one day, while one to three days is typical, so homeowners are happy and you get to the next job sooner.
- Robust provides your HAAG certification and comprehensive training. No roofing experience is required.
- Robust never waives deductibles, which Georgia law forbids, so you sell honestly and sleep well.
- A 50-year labor warranty in writing, while 1 to 10 years is the range contractors typically offer. It is an easy thing to stand behind.
- The RoofMap app gives every homeowner a portal for photos, options, colors and payments, so you spend your time on roofs, not paperwork.
