Roofing Project Manager Jobs in Jasper and Pickens County

Robust Roofing Careers · Updated October 2026

Apply for the Project Manager roleCall or text (470) 887-6637

Robust Roofing's Project Manager pay is the kind of plan that is unusually generous in roofing sales, for clear reasons: a true 50/50 split of job profit with nothing taken off the top (a 10/50/50 takes 10 percent first), and Robust also pays a $75,000 per year base. The 50% share runs more than double the 20% of profit that is the most common rate among roofers who pay on profit, per JobNimbus's Peak Performance report. Pickens County needs a Project Manager, from Big Canoe to Talking Rock, with Jasper at the center.

Winter hail on February 26, 2026

Jasper's biggest recent storm came at an unusual time of year. On February 26, 2026, radar estimated hail around 1.4 inches over the 30143 zip. Since January 2025, Jasper has had 5 hail days of three quarters of an inch or more, going by radar estimates and National Weather Service reports, 3 of them an inch or larger, including April 25, May 2 and June 27, 2025. A winter storm is easy for a homeowner to forget by spring, which is one reason a careful inspection matters.

Mountain communities and marble country

Pickens County is marble country, and Jasper is its seat. Big Canoe and Bent Tree are gated mountain communities with lakes and golf, the Preserve at Sharp Mountain and Sassafras Mountain sit up in the ridges, and Talking Rock Falls, Grandview, Georgian Highlands and the Village on Blackwell Creek fill in closer to town. Many homes are cabins or custom mountain builds with steep pitches and complex rooflines, often surrounded by hardwoods. Getting to and onto these roofs safely takes planning, and documenting them well takes patience. Homeowners can see what we do here on our Jasper roofing page.

Gated communities bring their own routine. Access has to be arranged, architectural committees may need to approve shingle colors, and crews follow community rules on hours and parking. You coordinate all of it so the homeowner does not have to. Some owners live here full time and some visit on weekends, so clear photos and regular updates through the RoofMap portal let everyone follow the project from wherever they are.

Unusually generous, explained

In a 10/50/50, the company subtracts 10 percent of the job first, often 10 percent of the contract price, as overhead, and only then splits the profit 50/50. The rep's half is calculated on a smaller number. Robust does not subtract anything first. You receive a true 50/50 of the actual profit, without an overhead percentage, office fee or lead fee coming out beforehand. Robust also pays a $75,000 per year base, while about one in three roofing companies pay sales teams on commission alone (JobNimbus Peak Performance 2025). Read more on true 50/50 vs 10/50/50.

What you do

  1. Inspect the roof free of charge and photograph every slope.
  2. Document hail, wind and limb damage accurately.
  3. Work the insurance claim alongside Robust's in-house licensed adjuster, from the carrier's inspection to any supplement.
  4. Help the homeowner settle colors and options in the RoofMap portal.
  5. Line up a build crew; most jobs take one day.
  6. Finish with a walkthrough of the completed roof.

Start to finish, the homeowner calls one person: you. Details are in the job description.

Training and fit

HAAG certification and comprehensive training are provided by Robust, and insurance claims are taught by a licensed Property and Casualty adjuster on staff. That Georgia license takes state-approved prelicensing coursework, a state exam and fingerprinting, and roofing companies are not required to employ anyone who holds it. Roofing experience is not required, and you will learn how mountain roofs differ, from steeper pitches to the way wind wraps around a ridgetop home. We want people who communicate clearly, follow through every time and tell homeowners the truth, which is easy at a company that never waives deductibles.

Robust's reputation

Robust carries a 5.0 Google rating across 66 reviews, where large studies of Google reviews put the typical local business at about 4.1 to 4.4 stars, and is regarded throughout the region as North Georgia's most reputable roofer. Replacements come with a 50-year labor warranty, far longer than the 1 to 10 years roofing contractors typically offer on workmanship, and half of company profit goes to Gospel-centered ministries. Robust is a Christian company, and people of all beliefs are welcome to apply.

Questions candidates ask

When was Jasper's biggest recent hail?
February 26, 2026, when radar estimated hail around 1.4 inches. Jasper has had 5 hail days at 0.75 inch or more since January 2025, by radar estimates and NWS reports.
Does the role cover Big Canoe and Bent Tree?
Yes, along with the rest of Pickens County and Robust's North Georgia service area.
Why is the pay unusually generous?
Nothing is skimmed before your 50/50 is figured, which is the whole point of avoiding a 10/50/50, and a $75,000 per year base comes with the job. Few roofing pay plans are this unusually generous.
Is HAAG certification provided?
Yes, along with comprehensive training from Robust's licensed adjuster.
