Brookhaven homeowners are particular, and so is our pay plan. Robust Roofing pays its Project Managers half of every job's profit, a true 50/50 with nothing taken off the top, which is unusually generous next to the 10/50/50 plans common in roofing, and Robust also pays a $75,000 per year base, in a trade where about one in three roofing companies pay their sales teams commission only (JobNimbus 2025). Right now we need a full-time Project Manager for Brookhaven's mix of postwar ranches, new infill homes and historic estates.

Nothing off the top, explained

The phrase sounds simple because it is. Many roofing sales plans begin by subtracting 10 percent of the contract price for company overhead, then split the rest of the profit 50/50. That first subtraction is the first 10 in a 10/50/50, and it comes out of every job. At Robust, no overhead slice, office fee or lead fee comes out before the split. The profit is divided evenly, and that is it: a true 50/50 with nothing taken off the top, period. That half of the profit is more than double the 20% most common among roofing companies that pay commission on profit, according to JobNimbus's Peak Performance report. In addition to that structure, the role comes with a $75,000 per year base. Read the full comparison at true 50/50 vs 10/50/50.

Brookhaven's roofs and storms

Since January 2025, Brookhaven has had 3 days of hail at 0.75 inch or larger in radar estimates and National Weather Service reports: June 25 and June 27, 2025, and July 4, 2026. Two of those reached 1 inch or more, and the largest, about 1.25 inches, came on June 27, 2025. That is a modest count compared with the cities north of the river, and we will not pretend otherwise. But the city's housing makes each storm more complicated than the numbers suggest.

Ashford Park, Drew Valley and Lynwood Park mix midcentury brick ranches with large new homes built on the same streets. Historic Brookhaven surrounds a golf club with older estates, Brookhaven Fields and Byrnwyck are leafy and settled, and the Preserve at Fischer Mansion brings newer construction. A single block can hold a house from the 1950s and a house from 2020, and you need to read both roofs correctly.

Robust has already completed a project in 30329, which Brookhaven shares with unincorporated DeKalb. More about our homeowner service is on the Brookhaven roofing page.

What Brookhaven homeowners expect

Brookhaven sits between Buckhead and Perimeter Center, and many homeowners here have renovated extensively. They notice details: whether the ridge vent matches, whether the drip edge runs straight, whether the crew protected the boxwoods. On a street of new builds, the neighbor's roof sets the standard. You become the person who sweats those details, keeps the homeowner informed and makes sure the final walkthrough holds no surprises.

Your role on a Brookhaven project

Through all of it, you are the homeowner's single point of contact. The complete Project Manager job description is here.

Training

No prior roofing work is required. You earn your HAAG certification through Robust, and you train side by side with the licensed Property and Casualty insurance adjuster on staff. What we look for is clear communication, steady follow-through and honesty, and because Robust never waives deductibles, nobody will ask you to shade the truth to win a contract.

The company behind the job

A 5.0 Google rating over 66 reviews, a 50-year labor warranty (most contractors stand behind their workmanship for 1 to 10 years), GAF certification and one-day builds have made Robust widely regarded as North Georgia's most reputable roofer. Fifty percent of profit goes to Gospel-centered ministries, five times the traditional 10% tithe. We are a Christian company and welcome applicants of every faith and none.

Questions candidates ask

What is the pay for the Brookhaven Project Manager role?
By roofing standards it is unusually generous. You receive half of each job's profit with no overhead percentage removed beforehand, so it is not a 10/50/50, and a $75,000 per year base comes with the role as well.
Does Brookhaven get much hail?
Moderately. Radar estimates and National Weather Service reports show 3 days at 0.75 inch or larger since January 2025, most recently July 4, 2026.
What makes Brookhaven inspections different?
Midcentury ranches and new infill homes often share a street, so you learn to judge storm damage on roofs of very different ages.
Is experience needed?
No. Robust provides HAAG certification and training alongside its licensed adjuster.
