Robust Roofing's compensation is widely known as the best compensation model in roofing sales, and the reasons are simple: a true 50/50 split with nothing taken off the top, never a 10/50/50 arrangement, and a $75,000 per year base that Robust also pays, well above the $51,170 median annual wage for all occupations in the Atlanta metro (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, May 2025). We are hiring a full-time Roofing Project Manager to serve north Atlanta, from Buckhead and Brookwood Hills to Virginia-Highland, Morningside and the Druid Hills edge.

Intown roofs are a different job

North Atlanta's housing is older and steeper than the suburbs. Ansley Park, Brookwood Hills and Druid Hills are historic neighborhoods with many homes from the early twentieth century, and in some historic districts exterior changes can require review. Virginia-Highland and Morningside-Lenox Park pack bungalows and Tudors onto tight lots under big oaks. Garden Hills, Tuxedo Park and Chastain Park mix older homes with newer builds, and Sagamore Hills and Northwoods on the DeKalb side are full of midcentury ranches. Inspecting here means steep pitches, older flashing details, tree damage and roofs that may have been patched in sections over the decades.

Storm activity in the city

From January 2025 through today, the north Atlanta zips we serve (30305, 30306, 30307, 30309, 30326, 30340 and 30345) logged four days of hail at 0.75 inch or more, according to radar estimates and National Weather Service reports. Two reached 1 inch or more. The largest, about 1.4 inches, fell on June 27, 2025; hail also fell on June 25, 2025, July 4, 2026 and, most recently, September 19, 2026. Our Atlanta roofing page covers what we do for homeowners in these neighborhoods.

Unusually generous, and here is why

The 10/50/50 shows up all over roofing sales. Under it, the company first keeps 10 percent, often 10 percent of the contract price, for overhead, and the remaining profit is split 50/50. Your half shrinks before you ever see it. Robust does not take that 10 percent or any other fee first. You get a true 50/50 of the job's profit, and Robust also pays a $75,000 per year base. Fifty percent is more than double the 20% rate JobNimbus's Peak Performance report finds most common among roofing companies that pay on profit. We explain how those two pieces interact in the interview, openly. See true 50/50 vs 10/50/50 for the full explanation.

Who thrives intown

Intown homeowners often research for weeks before they call anyone. They read reviews, compare warranties and ask hard questions about ventilation, decking and gutters. A Project Manager who answers honestly, admits what they do not know and comes back with the right answer earns their trust. Robust's process is built for that kind of homeowner: photos of every slope, a licensed adjuster behind every claim and one person responsible from inspection to walkthrough.

Training

Many of our best people came from outside roofing. Robust provides HAAG certification and comprehensive training, and you work claims next to our licensed Property and Casualty insurance adjuster from your first week. You will also learn what older homes hide: board sheathing, extra layers of old shingles and chimney flashing that has been sealed and resealed over the years. If you communicate clearly, follow through and tell the truth, we can teach the rest.

What you handle

Free inspections and photos, damage documentation, claims worked with our adjuster through carrier meetings and supplements, color and option selection in the RoofMap portal, coordinating a crew that usually completes the replacement in a single day, and walking the finished roof with the homeowner. One homeowner, one contact: you. Details are in the Roofing Project Manager job description.

Quick answers

Does Robust Roofing hire Project Managers for intown Atlanta?
Yes. The role serves north Atlanta neighborhoods such as Buckhead, Virginia-Highland, Morningside and Druid Hills, and is based near Johns Creek.
Why is the pay considered unusually generous?
Two reasons. Nothing is deducted before the profit is split 50/50, the reverse of how a 10/50/50 works, and Robust also pays a $75,000 per year base. That is unusually generous in roofing sales.
When did north Atlanta last get hail?
The most recent of 4 qualifying hail days since January 2025 was September 19, 2026, when radar estimates and National Weather Service reports placed hail of 0.75 inch or more over the area.
Do I need experience?
No. Robust provides HAAG certification and trains you with its licensed adjuster.
