Roofing Project Manager Jobs in Cleveland, White County
Robust Roofing Careers · Updated October 2026
Ask around about roofing sales pay and you will hear Robust Roofing's plan called the best compensation model in roofing sales. The reasons fit in one sentence: you get a true 50/50 split with nothing taken off the top, so none of the 10/50/50 overhead math, and Robust also pays a $75,000 per year base. Fifty percent of profit is more than double the 20% JobNimbus's Peak Performance report finds most common among roofing companies paying on profit. The opening is for a Project Manager serving Cleveland, the White County seat and the gateway to Helen and the northeast Georgia mountains.
Three big hail days, all in 2025
White County's seat has seen fewer hail days than some of its neighbors, but the ones it got were serious. Radar estimates and National Weather Service reports count 3 Cleveland hail days at 0.75 inch or larger since January 2025, and all 3 reached at least an inch: April 25, June 25 and August 12, 2025. The largest, about 1.3 inches, came on June 25. No hail at that size has been recorded in Cleveland so far in 2026, and we would rather you know that now. The Project Manager role covers our whole North Georgia territory, including Dahlonega and Clarkesville, both of which have taken hail in 2026.
Mountain gateway homes
Cleveland is a small mountain town with a courthouse square and a steady stream of visitors headed to Helen and the national forest. Its neighborhoods include Lake Laceola, Adairs Mill, Cedar Creek, Hawks Ridge and White Oak Estates, and many homes sit on wooded acreage or hillsides with long drives. Cabins, farmhouses and custom builds with complex rooflines are all common. Mountain weather adds its own wrinkles: wind funnels through the valleys, heavy tree cover makes fallen limbs as common a finding as hail, and some homes sit at the end of gravel roads that test a truck as much as a ladder. Robust has worked with homeowners in the area, and our Cleveland roofing page shows how we serve them.
The best compensation model in roofing sales, in detail
In many roofing sales jobs, overhead comes out first: 10 percent of the job, usually calculated on the contract price, before the remaining profit is split 50/50. That is the 10/50/50. Robust's plan has no first cut. No overhead percentage, no office fee, no lead fee. You and the company split the actual profit evenly, and Robust also pays a $75,000 per year base. Nearly half of insurance-focused roofing companies pay their sales teams commission only, according to JobNimbus's 2025 data, so a stated base is worth weighing.
An illustrative comparison
On a hypothetical job with a $22,000 contract and $9,000 of profit before any overhead cut, a 10/50/50 removes $2,200 first and the rep's half is $3,400. With nothing off the top, the rep's half is $4,500. Illustrative, actual job numbers vary. For more, read true 50/50 vs 10/50/50.
What the job involves
You start with a free inspection, photographing every slope and every finding. You document damage clearly, work the insurance claim with Robust's in-house licensed adjuster through the carrier meeting and supplements, and help the homeowner choose options and colors in the RoofMap portal. You coordinate a build that usually finishes in one day, then walk the completed roof with the homeowner. On a property with a cabin, a barn and a main house, that may mean three separate inspections, each documented on its own. You are their one point of contact. See the Project Manager job description.
Training
Robust provides HAAG certification and comprehensive training, and you learn the insurance side next to a licensed Property and Casualty adjuster on staff. Experience in roofing is not required. Mountain homeowners appreciate someone who explains things plainly and keeps their word, and because Robust never waives deductibles, plain talk is always possible.
