This explains what we collect when you use chooserobust.com, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it.

What we collect

• When you request an inspection. Your name, phone number, email address, property address, and the appointment time you select.
• When you apply for a job. Your name, contact details, and the answers you give in the application, which are sent to us by email.
• When you use the RoofMap homeowner portal. Your phone number is used to look up your project. The portal then shows information tied to that project, including status, photos, documents, and billing.
• When you pay online. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card and bank details are entered on Stripe's systems, not ours, and we do not store full payment credentials.
• Automatically. Standard web server information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, which our hosting provider records for security and reliability.

How we use it

To schedule and perform inspections and roofing work, to communicate with you about your project, to support your insurance claim when you ask us to, to evaluate job applications, to process payments, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inspection, your project, and your claim. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by telling your project manager, and you can ask us to stop calling by contacting us at the address below. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop essential messages about work already scheduled on your home.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who help us operate: website hosting, our project database, email, and payment processing. They may only use the information to provide those services to us.
• Your insurance company, when you ask us to support or document your claim.
• Crews and suppliers who need your address and job details to perform the work.
• When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Other services used on this site

Address suggestions in our forms are powered by Google Places. Videos are embedded from YouTube, which may set its own cookies when you play one. If site analytics are enabled, we use a privacy-focused, cookieless measurement tool that reports aggregate traffic only and does not track individuals across sites.

How long we keep it

Project and billing records are kept as long as needed to provide our services, honor our workmanship warranty, and satisfy legal, tax, and insurance obligations. Job applications are kept for a reasonable hiring period. Inspection requests that do not become projects are kept only as long as useful for follow-up.

Security

The site is served over encrypted connections, portal access is tied to your phone number, and access to project records is limited to Robust Roofing staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes
